Suffix breakdown — what you are actually buying
-
25° contact angle — higher axial stiffness than the 15° variant; suited to the fixed/locating spindle position and higher axial cutting loads.
-
Polyamide (nylon) cage — low mass and quiet at speed; the standard for high-speed spindle service.
-
P4 — ISO precision class (≈ ABEC 7) with restricted running tolerances for low radial and axial runout and repeatable concentricity.
-
light preload, universal matching — mounts in DB/DF/DT arrangements to the designed preload when clamped.
-
Full designation — supplied and verified exactly as specified: 7013A5TYNSULP4.
What this means on the spindle
-
High rigidity: defined contact angle and preload hold the shaft against axial and radial cutting forces, protecting tolerance under load.
-
Low runout: super-precision running accuracy keeps concentricity tight for surface finish and tool life.
-
Long service life: precision raceways and controlled preload extend service intervals and reduce failures.
10+ Years FAG Bearing Specialist Support
Every order is checked by a specialist with over a decade in FAG precision bearings. Send us the full designation and we will verify every prefix and suffix — contact angle, cage, precision class, preload and sealing — so the part you receive is an exact match for your spindle, not an approximate substitute. FAG, INA (Schaeffler Group), SKF, NSK and IBC references are supplied as product, with documentation available on request and express cross-border shipping to the UK and EU.
